No Update on North Shore Farms' Opening Date
Company spokesman says they hope to have an update soon.

A spokesman for North Shore Farms said that there’s no update as to when the organic grocery store will open in North Bellmore.
George M Tsiatis, the managing director of Group 113, LLC, told Patch that they’re still “in the permitting process, and they hope to have an update soon.”
The building, located at the intersection of Jerusalem Avenue and Pea Pond Road, housed Rite Aid until 2002, but Rite Aid maintained the lease until 2011. While many clients explored the property, including Western Beef, this is the first client to pass the approval process.

North Shore Farms will be doing minimal work on the exterior of the building, which includes eliminating the area that was used for a drive thru for Rite Aid. That will be replaced by two additional parking spaces, increasing the total number to 86.
