North Bellmore FD Paramedics Assist Resident

North Bellmore Fire and Emergency Medical Service personnel helps a resident in distress.

Even with frigid temps dipping into the lower teens Sunday morning, the North Bellmore Fire Department responds to the scene of a resident in need.

Around 9 a.m. North Bellmore EMS personnel raced to a co-op at 2611 Jerusalem Ave., where an occupant "wasn't feeling well," according to 3rd Assistant Fire Chief Douglas Sherwood.

"He requested to be taken to the hospital," Sherwood added.

The nature of the resident's illness was not released.
