North Bellmore School Budget Passes
The votes are in for the district's 2020-21 budget. See how it fared in your community.

NORTH BELLMORE, NY — The results are in, and the North Bellmore School District's budget passed.
The vote was 2,928 to 1,793 in favor of the spending plan.
Proposition 2, to create a capital reserve fund for the district, also passed, with 3,203 votes for and 1,455 against.

Two candidates were also running for an open seat on the Board of Education. Christine Malloy beat out Peter Mayo, with 2,394 votes to 1,545.
All of the votes were cast by absentee ballot this year because of the coronavirus pandemic.
