Robert Rafferty brings a wealth of experience to the district.

The North Bellmore School District recently announced the appointment of Robert Rafferty as the new director of facilities. He replaces Frank Russo, who retired after nine years.
Rafferty brings more than 30 years of construction and facilities management experience in both the public and private sector. He most recently worked as the director of facilities for the Hempstead School District. A resident of Patchogue, Rafferty holds a degree from Stony Brook University and numerous professional certifications. In North Bellmore, he will oversee the upkeep of the district’s buildings and grounds, supervise the custodial and maintenance staff and coordinate with contractors performing work at the schools.
