North Bellmore Welcomes New Trustee, Names Board Officers

Two board members were sworn in and officers were appointed at the North Bellmore Board of Education meeting on July 1.

New trustee Jo-Ann Erhard took the oath of office for the first time after she was elected to a three-year term. Rosemarie Corless, who won a full three-year term after being appointed to fill a vacancy last year, was also sworn in as a trustee.

Nina Lanci was selected to serve as board president for the 2019-20 school year and John Ferrara was named vice president. Lanci and Ferrara will also be North Bellmore’s representatives on the Bellmore-Merrick Central High School District board of education.
