Ms. Amanda Dimonda, who teaches fifth grade at Park Avenue Elementary School, has been nominated for the KJOY Teacher of the Month contest for April.
She is up against teachers from East Meadow, Massapequa, Syosset, Westbury and West Hempstead.
One of these finalists for this month's "Teacher Of The Month" will be rewarded for their excellence. The teacher who receives the most votes by the end of the month will win $250 cash and $250 worth of Pilot Pens, courtesy of Learning RX.
