Regan Fried Clinches Second Place Award

Regan Fried, eight years old from Bellmore, received a trophy for placing second in points in the recent Shoot Out Championships held at Eisenhower Aquatics center. She won the backstroke and freestyle events and accumulated points from her second and third place finishes in her other events.

Swimming as a member of the Long Island Aquatics Club, she qualified for the 200 freestyle race in the Junior Olympics, one of only three girls who are 8 and under who qualified, on July 22 nd.

Regan will be entering fourth grade at Winthrop School in September.
