Residents Can Get Narcan Training, Certification

BELLMORE, NY — The Bellmore Memorial Library is offering residents a Narcan training session. It is organized by the Town of Hempstead and Councilman Anthony D'Esposito, a Narcan trainer.

The seminar is scheduled for Mon., Dec. 6 from 6-7 p.m.

Training will include how to identify an overdose victim, administer the Narcan kit and contact first responders. Those in attendance will earn certification and a Narcan kit to take home.
