Roommate Stabs Victim, Who Seeks Refuge At Nearby 7-Eleven: Police

An argument escalated over a roommate playing music too loud, police say.

BELLMORE, NY — A man was stabbed by his roommate in Bellmore and sought help at a nearby 7-Eleven, police said.

It happened around 10:15 p.m. Saturday, when an argument escalated about the male victim, 31, playing his music too loud.

Frank Liguori, 61, stabbed the victim in the chest, police said.

After running into the 7-Eleven at the corner of Park Place in Bellmore, the victim was taken to a hospital for treatment.

Ligouri was arrested without incident and charged with two counts of assault and one count of criminal possession of a weapon. He was expected to be arraigned on Sunday.
