Saw Mill Students Use Super Bowl To Give Back
The students are holding a 'Souper Bowl' food drive to help fill the Community Cupboard.

BELLMORE, NY - From North Bellmore Public Schools: With the biggest football game of the year on the horizon, students at Saw Mill Road Elementary School in the North Bellmore School District are using the opportunity to help others.
The Student Council organized a “Souper Bowl,” which runs through Feb. 2. Donations will go to the Community Cupboard, a local food pantry that serves families in need in Bellmore and Merrick. Students and staff are encouraged to drop off cans of soup and place them in the box representing the team they think will win the Super Bowl.
Members of the Student Council made signs and announcements to encourage their classmates to give. After the game, they will personally deliver the donations.
