Second Snow Day: North Bellmore, Bellmore-Merrick CHSD Closed Tuesday

BELLMORE, NY — Schools have already begun to announce cancellations due to the blizzard that has blanketed Long Island.

The Bellmore-Merrick Central School District announced the High School District will be closed on Tuesday. It serves 7th through 12th grade-students from Bellmore, North Bellmore, Merrick, and North Merrick.

All after-school and evening activities planned for Tuesday have been canceled.

The North Bellmore School District has announced there will be no school on Tuesday due to the continued snow clean-up efforts and hazardous road conditions.

All after-school programs, events, and meetings will be canceled as well.
