Sept. 14: New Teacher Contracts, School Renovations, Published Poets

  1. The Merrick School District announced at their public board meeting that they had reached an agreement with the Merrick Faculty Association on the terms of a new three year contract.
  2. The North Merrick School District revealed thet they had successfully completed their 2012 Capital Improvement Projects, a $1.2 million dollar renovation of several of the district’s buildings, in time for the start of the new school year.
