Serial Graffiti Sprayer Arrested After Breaking into School Building: Police

Police say they caught him in the act of robbing the building.

Police arrested a North Bellmore man on Saturday that they say broke into a building at Newbridge Road School and was responsible for graffiti all over the Bellmore and North Bellmore area.

According to detectives, Jacob Guzman, 18, of McKinley Avenue, North Bellmore, was observed by a group of kids spray painting graffiti on the Newbridge Road School, located at 1601 Newbridge Road. The kids called 911 when they saw him.

As officers responded to the scene, they heard an alarm at the North Bellmore School District's Facilities Management Building, which is a separate building across the schoolyard. When they got there, officers saw that an access door had been kicked in, entered the building and observed Guzman inside. He was then placed under arrest without further incident.
