Teen Hurt, Hospitalized In Hit-And-Run Nassau Crash: Police

The 14-year-old victim suffered a fracture and other injuries in the Tuesday collision, police said.

NORTH BELLMORE, NY — A teenage bicyclist was badly injured from a hit-and-run crash on Tuesday morning in North Bellmore.

Nassau police say a white van collided with the 14-year-old male victim at the intersection of Saw Mill Road and Jerusalem Avenue, police said.

The victim was taken to a nearby hospital for a fracture, lacerations and bruising, authorities said.

Police said the crash caused two black-colored lower panels to fall off the suspect's van.
