Town Offers Free Outdoor Children's Programs
Combat summer boredom with a trip to Newbridge Road Park and some entertainment.

As part of the Town of Hempstead's summer children's program the Department of Parks and Recreation offer various musical, comedy and variety acts for local residents. On Wednesday at 1 p.m. at Newbridge Road Park, Felix Pitre will be performing Animal Tales.
Sing and laugh with Latin-American storyteller/musician extraordinaire, Felix Pitre. Felix performs a collection of animal stories and sings songs that celebrate the environment and teach respect for friendly creatures large and small. The show features fun-filled audience participation with stories from Brazil, Mexico and Peru and spirited sing-alongs.
