Trapped Fire Victim Rescued, Hospitalized With 2 Other Residents: PD
The house fire in Roosevelt also sent three police officers to the hospital with smoke inhalation, police say.

ROOSEVELT, NY — One man was trapped in a house fire on Sunday afternoon in Roosevelt.
Nassau police officers entered the Frederick Avenue home and rescued the 29-year-old victim from the second floor, detectives said.
He was taken to a local hospital, along with two other men (23 and 36-years-old) for smoke inhalation.

Four residents safely escaped the fire before police arrived.

The Roosevelt Fire Department and Uniondale Fire Department extinguished the fire.
