Two Armed Men Invade Nassau County Apartment

They knocked on the door and forced their way in early Monday, police say. A couple and their 2-year-old child were inside.

NORTH BELLMORE, NY – Two men armed with guns forced their way into an occupied Nassau County apartment early Monday morning, Nassau Police said.

It happened at about 12:25 a.m. in Lincoln Street in North Bellmore, police said.

According to police, the two men knocked on the door of the apartment and then forced their way in. They demanded property from a 29-year-old man and a 22-year-old woman who were inside along with their 2-year-old child, police said.

After a short time, the armed men left the scene with no proceeds in an unknown direction. No injuries were reported.

The first man is described as black, 5-foot-10 and heavyset. He was armed with a silver revolver and wearing a red baseball hat, burgundy hooded shirt and black pants. The second man is described as black with a thin build. He was armed with a black handgun and wearing a ski mask, black pants, white Jordan sneakers and a winter hat.
