Two Officers Rescue Bellmore Woman Trapped in Car

BELLMORE, NY - Two police officers save a Bellmore woman trapped in her car after a tree fell on it on Monday.

Denise Giammarino was driving on Martin Avenue in Bellmore when a tree fell onto her car, bringing down power lines along with it, according to police.

Officers Ronald Curaba and Christopher Lettieri responded to the 911 call and when they arrived, they immediately cleared the scene and the car and got Giammarino out safely, police said.

Giammarino was uninjured.
