Most of anyone of you that have ever read one of MY posts knows that I am an avid opponent of overpaid administrators, in our districts especially, seeing that we ALL pay for 2 individual sets of Administrators and staff.
The North Bellmore and CHSD districts completed their hiring of replacements for the 2 retiring Superintendents, so they might start drawing on their cushy pensions.....Even after 8 HARD LONG years in the demanding North Bellmore District with his salary and 100% paid benefits and cellphone Mr. Goldstein retired......
At least North Bellmore's board heard me squawking enough that at least they hire a replacement that LIVES in the district, at least they heard that correctly. AS for the salaries being in the Governor Cuomo endorsed 180K range , yep both Boards spent like they had no limitations(on tax dollars) .
Were there not enough people that were qualified that were in need of a position? Why do the Boards continuously spend on the salaries of these administrators????....... Next up they want to fix the fields at the CHSD district high schools by installing turf????? Why not repair with Natural Grass in the spring? Because, 1- they have cut the support positions in the janitorial sector to the bone 2- the boards continue to spend lavishly on admin and teachers..... Fact.... I work for a business that installs turf fields, so I have no opinion against based solely on that........
But what is YOUR opinion? on Turf Fields for our CHSD.......GOOD, BAD..... we need them because everybody else has them? (OMG, really) Are you worried about the costs? Our taxes are high enough!, What do YOU say.....Lets hear it............
