The rain is coming down in Bellmore, and meteorologists don't expect it to stop until sometime Thursday.
According to the National Weather Service, showers are likely, and a thunderstorm may be on the horizon as well. This is expected to continue through the morning with patchy fog possibly being an issue for the early-morning commute.
