Votings Starts Tonight for CHSD Student on American Idol

Public voting for Calhoun student Robbie Rosen will begin tonight, so be sure to tune in.

After making the cut last week, 16-year-old Robbie Rosen of Calhoun High School has made it to the top 24 on FOX’s American Idol.

His most recent performance had the judges captivated.

“Robbie, man – so good, right out of the box. This is one of the hardest competitions and I’m positively sure that you made it through to the top 24,” said judge Aerosmith frontman Steven Tyler, who has been consistently impressed with Rosen’s performances throughout the competition.

Starting tonight, America will be able to vote. So tune in at 8 p.m. to see Rosen’s next performance and get your phones ready to make the call.

Mepham principal Michael Harrington has asked all members of the CHSD to help in the voting process. "Help support a great kid from our community," he said.
