
- What do you do for a living? I am the Director of the North Bellmore Public Library. I started at the Library in 1991 as Head of the Children's Services Department until I was appointed as Director in 2007.
- How are you involved with Bellmore? I am involved with the Bellmores through the Library where the staff and I strive to provide the community with print and electronic materials, varied programs for all ages, internet availability and information services for personal enrichment, enjoyment and educational needs.
- What's the best thing about Bellmore? The best thing about the Bellmores is the residents. They are very warm, friendly, appreciative and caring, Some of the children I had in storytime when I first started at the Library still stop by and ask for me to say hello.
- How did you end up in Bellmore? I ended up in Bellmore as i was looking for a job as a Children's Librarian. The position was available at the North Bellmore Public Library and the rest is history.
- What do you do for fun? I like to spend time with my family and friends, go out to eat and play with our 4 dogs and 4 cats.
- I have been married to my wife, Sue, for 23 years. We have 3 children--Steven, 21, Christopher, 18 and Michelle,15.
- Tell us about your family. Do you have any children or grandchildren? My favorite places in the Bellmores include the North Bellmore and Bellmore Memorial Libraries, the North Bellmore Elementary Schools and Dunkin' Donuts.
