• Long Island Potato Festival coming to Farmingdale State College this fall (newsday.com) — Bohemia gets a tasty shout-out at the first Long Island Potato Festival, where The Yum Spot will serve twisted potato chips on a stick. The free, family-friendly festival runs Sept. 26-27 at Farmingdale State College, featuring rides, live music, a farmers market, kids' activities, and plenty of potato-themed dishes from Long Island vendors.
