• Islandia approves zoning revision for mixed-use project (libn.com) — A Bohemia-based developer has secured a key zoning revision in Islandia for a mixed-use project that could indirectly affect housing and jobs for Bohemia residents. The 12.6-acre plan calls for 366 apartments, 50 hotel rooms, commercial space, and a Veterans Memorial park, with county planners urging that a portion of units be affordable and reserved for local first responders.
