BRENTWOOD, NY — Two men were shot when a fight broke out inside a Brentwood home where multiple people — including children — had gathered on Friday afternoon, Suffolk police said.

A fight broke out at a home on Pineland Place and a man fired a shot from a gun that hit another man in the wrist at about 1:25 p.m., police said, adding that the bullet then left the man’s wrist and struck another man in the left arm. The shooter left the home, police said.

Both men were transported to a local hospital for treatment of “non-life-threatening injuries,” according to police. No other injuries were reported, police said.
