3 People Charged In Connection To 18 Thefts Across Suffolk: PD

BRENTWOOD, NY - Three people were arrested in Brentwood on Saturday in connection to 18 thefts from several businesses across Suffolk between May and September, according to Suffolk Police.

Following an investigation, officers found Terron O’Connor, Christine Tacktill, and Steven Jameau at EZ Pawn on Brentwood Road on September 29 at 7:45 p.m. and arrested them for possession of stolen property, police said.

According to police, O’Connor was charged in connection with larcenies that occurred at the following locations:

• EZ Cash Pawn & Jewelry on 1913 Brentwood Road in Brentwood on September 28
• Target on 160 North Research Plaza in Central Islip on September 26
• Lowe’s on 800 Sunrise Highway in Bay Shore on September 23
• Target on 838 Sunrise Highway in Bay Shore on September 20
• Target on 265 Pond Path in South Setauket on September 18
• Target on 838 Sunrise Highway in Bay Shore on September 14
• Target on 265 Pond Path in South Setauket on September 16
• Bed, Bath & Beyond on 5131 Sunrise Highway in Bohemia on September 13
• Target on 1149 Sunrise Highway in Copiague on September 9
• EZ Cash Pawn & Jewelry on 1913 Brentwood Road in Brentwood on September 9
• EZ Cash Pawn & Jewelry on 1913 Brentwood Road in Brentwood on September 7
• Target on 100 Willow Park Center in Farmingdale on August 12
• Target on 838 Sunrise Highway in Bay Shore on August 6
• Target on 265 Pond Path in South Setauket on August 1
• Home Depot on 1881 Sunrise Highway in Bay Shore on July 25
• Walmart on 85 Crooked Hill Road in Commack on July 21
• Walmart on 85 Crooked Hill Road in Commack on July 12
• Target on 838 Sunrise Highway in Bay Shore on May 27

O’Connor, 39, of Ronkonkoma, was charged with grand larceny, petty larceny, and felony possession of stolen property, police said.

Tacktill, 34, also of Ronkonkoma, who was involved in five of the larcenies, was charged with grand larceny, petty larceny, and felony possession of stolen property, police said.

Jameau, 35, of Centereach, who was involved in one of the incidents, was charged with felony possession of stolen property, police said.

O’Connor and Jameau was held overnight at the Third Precinct and Tacktill was held overnight at the Fourth Precinct.

They are scheduled to be arraigned at First District Court in Central Islip on Sunday.
