80-Year-Old Man Killed In Early-Morning Brentwood Crash: Police
The man was struck on Suffolk Avenue near Fulton Street at about 2:20 a.m. Monday, police say.
BRENTWOOD, NY — An 80-year-old Brentwood man was killed early Monday after he was struck by an SUV on Suffolk Avenue, Suffolk County police said.
Richard Jennings was in the east lane on Suffolk Avenue, near Fulton Street, when he was struck by a 2017 Ford Escape at about 2:20 a.m., police said.
Jennings was taken to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead, police said.

The Ford driver, 23, of Islip Terrace, was treated for minor injuries.
The vehicle was impounded for a safety check, police said.
