District officials said the spending plan includes a $36 million transfer to capital, which will allow the district to construct additional classroom space at four elementary schools. The budget also includes funding to complete Phase II of the high school field upgrades.

The approved budget also continues investments in extended learning opportunities, career pathways, school-based learning, athletics, arts, technology, safety and student support services.

It also includes investments in instructional spaces, access to technology, security systems, air conditioning and other learning-environment upgrades.
