CENTRAL ISLIP, NY — A new spot for wings, chicken tenders, burgers and more is celebrating its grand opening in Central Islip on Wednesday.
Wings Co., located at 26 North Research Place, will begin its National Wing Day celebration at 10 a.m. on July 29, the restaurant said on Instagram.
Customers can purchase wings for 99 cents each throughout the day, the business said. The first 100 guests in line will also receive a free original chicken sandwich. The sandwich offer is limited to one per customer and is available for dine-in customers only.
The grand-opening festivities are also expected to include a live DJ, door prizes, games, food tastings and giveaways.
Wings Co.'s menu includes fresh wings, tenders, burgers, wraps, shakes and other items. The Central Islip location's regular hours are 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. daily, although Wednesday's grand-opening celebration is scheduled to begin at 10 a.m.
The restaurant is promoting the Central Islip opening as coinciding with National Wing Day, which is observed annually on July 29.
