Central Islip Man, 78, Missing For More Than A Week: Police

CENTRAL ISLIP, NY — Suffolk County police have issued a Silver Alert for a missing Central Islip man who has dementia and high blood pressure.

Orlander Hunter, 78, was last seen at his Central Islip home on July 27, police said. A friend reported him missing on Tuesday, Aug. 4.

Hunter is described as Black, approximately 5 feet, 9 inches tall and 175 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.

Anyone with information about Hunter's whereabouts should call 911 or Suffolk County Police Third Squad detectives at 631-854-8352.
