Brentwood Announces Poster Contest Winners

Students were recognized for their posters made to disseminate information on the district's Food Service Grab-N-Go program.

BRENTWOOD, NEW YORK (DECEMBER 2020)—A student poster contest, spearheaded by the Brentwood Food Service Department in conjunction with the Brentwood High School Performing & Fine Arts departments, was conducted through schools to disseminate information on the district’s Food Service Grab-N-Go program. Designed to target Brentwood’s remote/virtual learners, the poster contest encouraged BHS’s students to display their extensive knowledge of good nutrition, as well as their high levels of creativity and artistic talent.

Congratulations to our wonderful student artists, and their teachers Jill Haug and Andrew Alexander, on their success in the competition—1st place: Jocelyn Rodriquez, 10th grade; 2nd place: Henri Escobar, 11th grade; and 3rd place: Arianna Ampuero, 11th grade.
