Brentwood Man Caught Driving With 21 License Suspensions: Cops

The 56-year-old was caught after he was pulled over for having a cracked windshield and a damaged brake light, police say.

WYANDANCH, NY - A Brentwood man was arrested after he was caught driving with over 20 suspensions on his license in Wyandanch on Friday evening, according to Suffolk Police.

Officers pulled over a 1996 Nissan Maxima traveling eastbound on Merrit Avenue at North 15th Street at 5:15 p.m. after noticing the vehicle had a cracked windshield and damaged right rear brake light, police said.

The officers found that the driver, 56-year-old Gregory Johnson, was driving with a license that had been suspended 21 times, police said.

He was charged with first degree aggravated unlicensed operation, operating a vehicle without an interlock device and unlawful possession of marijuana.
