Brentwood Man Drives Wrong Way On Road, Nearly Causes Crash: PD
The officers moved quickly to avoid a head-on crash after spotting the 57-year-old driving on the wrong side of the road, police said.

WEST BABYLON, NY - A Brentwood man was arrested after nearly causing a head-on collision while driving the wrong way on Route 109 in West Babylon on Wednesday night, according to Suffolk Police.
Miguel Caban, 57, was driving his 1999 Ford pickup westbound in the eastbound lanes of the road, forcing a marked Suffolk County Police patrol car and an unmarked police vehicle to move quickly to avoid a head-on collision, police said.
The officers turned around and initiated a traffic stop, leading to Caban's arrest, police said.

He was charged with reckless driving and seventh degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. Caban was also issued several summonses for traffic infractions.
He was held overnight at the First Precinct and is scheduled to be arraigned at First District Court in Central Islip on Thursday.
