Islip, NY – Teachers from the Brentwood School District have come together to provide meals to health care workers on the front lines at the Brentwood COVID-19 test site.
Carl Stone, Raquel Carpenter and Karla Correa Bustos from the Brentwood East Middle School, have partnered with Amore Pizza, Sunrise Bagels and Espiguita Bakery to deliver breakfast and lunch to the test site staff.
"Throughout this pandemic, we have witnessed a tremendous outpouring of support in our Town," said Islip Supervisor Angie Carpenter. "Our communities have risen to this enormous challenge through cavalcades of caring, meal deliveries and parades, and these Brentwood teachers are another fine example of the generosity in our Town," said the Supervisor.
