Brentwood Woman Found Dead Behind Hauppauge Bank

She "appeared to be a victim of violence," police say.

HAUPPAUGE, NY – Police believe a 65-year-old woman found dead behind a Hauppauge bank Saturday morning was murdered.

Paula Chavez-Quintanilla was found in the rear parking lot of 150 Motor Parkway at around 9:10 a.m., according to Suffolk Police. Chavez-Quintanilla, who police say appeared to be a victim of violence, was pronounced dead at the scene by a physician assistant from the Office of the Suffolk County Medical Examiner.

Homicide Squad detectives are asking anyone with information to call detectives at 631-852-6392 or anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS.

Suffolk Police are also investigating the murders of two 29-year-old men who were found shot outside a Medford home Saturday morning.
