Brentwood's 2025-26 School Budget Results Are In
See whether the Brentwood Union Free School District budget passed this year.
BRENTWOOD, NY — Residents within the boundaries of the Brentwood Union Free School District on Tuesday voted to pass the 2025-26 school budget by a margin of 1,104 yes votes to 395 no votes.
The district's budget is $688,525,221, a 14.1 percent increase from last year's. The tax levy is $115,501,607, up 1 percent.
There were two open seats for the Brentwood Board of Education. Maria Malave was elected to Seat 1 with 927 votes and Hassan Ahmed was elected to Seat 2 with 802 votes.
