Central Islip Man Seriously Injured In Crash
Two drivers were hospitalized after the crash on Monday afternoon.

BAY SHORE, NY - Two people were hospitalized with serious injuries after a crash in Bay Shore on Monday afternoon, according to Suffolk Police.
A 2000 Ford van, driven by 41-year-old Fritz Pierre-Louis, of Bay Shore, was traveling northbound on 5th Avenue near Spur Drive South when it veered into the southbound lanes striking a 2006 Chevrolet HHR, driven by 50-year-old Hakim Grant, of Central Islip, at 4:20 p.m.
Both drivers were transported to Southside Hospital in Bay Shore with serious, non-life-threatening injuries.

Pierre-Louis was issued a summons for driving with a suspended license.
