Central Islip School District: Alfano Showcases Musical Talents At The 2021 Winter Concert Series

Students in the Alfano Elementary School chorus and band proudly entertained their audience of family members and school staff as part of Central Islip School District's 2021 Winter Concert Series. Under the direction of 5th and 6th Grade Chorus Teacher, Mr. Jack Seabury, and 5th and 6th Grade Band Teacher, Ms. Kennedy Burgess, chorus and band students, respectively, performed some favorite holiday tunes from their repertoire. Mr. Philip Voigt, Director of Music Education and Instructional Technology offered an introduction about concert protocols, followed by Alfano Elementary School Principal who welcomed guests who attended the show to enjoy the students' performances. The 2021 Winter Concert Series marks the first live winter music performances by music ensembles in Central Islip School District in 700 days.
