Back performing live after 700 days of navigating the COVID-19 Pandemic, Cordello Elementary School music teachers and their students proudly presented their Winter Concert on December 15. Students in the 5th and 6th Grade Chorus under the direction of Music Teacher Ms. Alexa Ruggiero sang songs which they prepared to delight their audience. The chorus was followed by students in the 5th and 6th Grade Band, under the direction of their teacher, Mr. Patrick Hait. The band members were joined by junior band members who performed the Jingle Bell Challenge. The in-person concert was a well-received and welcome change after two years of cancelled concerts due to COVID-19. Cordello Elementary School Principal, Ms. Brenda Jackson, delivered welcoming remarks, while Music Education and Technology and Instructional Technology Director, Mr. Philip Voigt, announced concert protocols which audience members were asked to follow.
