Students in Mrs. Donohue's Fourth Grade Bilingual Class at Cordello
Elementary School learned more about Hispanic culture and heritage
during Hispanic Heritage Month. Under the tutelage of Mrs. Donohue, the
students created a multitude of projects that depict Hispanic culture,
famous people, food, government, and much more through art, an open mic
presentation, creating a book, and writing their original poetry pieces.
Superintendent of Schools, Ms Sharon A. Dungee, lauded Mrs. Donohue
and her students for their impressive display of Hispanic history
through the decades.
