Press release from Central Islip School District:

11/24/2021

Students and staff at O'Neill Elementary School were
treated to a visit by members of the LI NETS basketball team and their
eagle mascot, who delivered boxes of literacy-based items for the
school's READ-180 program. Bean bag cushions for comfortable reading
stations, flash cards and fidget poppers, were all part of the generous
package from which students will benefit. O'Neill Elementary School
Principal, Mrs. Kristine LoCascio, thanked the LI NETS team for their
thoughtful gesture and generous donation of items which will help to
enhance students' reading studies. Images in this presentation
