Morrow Elementary School's first ever outdoor holiday light show illuminated the smiles on the faces of families who joined faculty and staff to celebrate the PARP, (Parents as Reading Partners), finale, and winter's arrival. Morrow Elementary School Principal, Dr Neema Coker, explained that the Holiday Light "Glow" display "is the culminating event to celebrate the various reading and writing that our students and families did this month as they participated in PARP activities." Hot chocolate warmed guests as Jack Frost was nipping at noses in the brisk, cold weather! The light show was organized by the school's faculty, staff and administration who volunteered their time and offered donations to make PARP 2021 successful for all Morrow students. School Social Worker, Mr. Chris Carlozzo, noted that the school's faculty and staff offered generous donations of winter coats and backpacks that were distributed to the Morrow School Community. Dr. Coker thanked PARP Team Members and PARP coordinators Mrs. Alyssa Kelly and Ms. Stephanie Douglas, Morrow PTA for their generous donations to the PARP initiative, as well as faculty and staff, for making PARP 2021 the best event to date, and the families who continue to overwhelmingly support their children's literacy activities.
