Central Islip School District: Mulvey Students Are Visited By Central Islip Fire Department Volunteers

Central
Islip Fire Department firefighters gave Mulvey students a course on fire
safety recently, during their annual visit to the school for Fire
Prevention Week. Youngsters learned how to safely exit a burning
building, and they were shown the numerous functions of a fire truck
which was on display outside the school. Mulvey Elementary School
Principal Ms. Jessica Iafrate was appreciative of the volunteer
firefighters' visit, and the safety measures they offered to her
students.
