from O'Neill Elementary School are pictured proudly showcasing their
winning posters from their Fire Prevention Poster Contest, with O'Neill
Principal, Mrs. Kristine LoCascio. Mrs. LoCascio thanked the Central
Islip Fire Department Volunteers for promoting fire safety and
prevention with her students, and acknowledged all of her students'
efforts for the original posters they created which depicted fire safety
lessons that they learned when volunteer firefighters recently visited
their school. Superintendent of Schools, Ms. Sharon A. Dungee, noted the
importance of the annual visit Central Islip Fire Department Volunteers
make to each of the elementary schools to teach children how to stay
safe from fire hazards. Pictured are O'Neill Elementary poster contest
