Sixth grade students and their counterpart kindergarten
friends from O'Neill Elementary School are pairing up as reading
partners. As part of an initiative to promote literacy, the kindergarten
students toted their storybooks to the school's READ 180 Room, where
sixth grade students read stories, one-on-one, to their younger
counterparts. Images in this presentation depict the students'
interactions as they teamed up for story time.
