“The real estate agent said nothing [of the property’s past], obviously, because they wouldn’t have been able to sell,” the new homeowner told the New York Post.
The home, which was empty before the couple purchased it, was sold for $320,000, according to Realtor.com.
After Rodriguez's death,
When describing the events leading to Rodriguez's death, Rep. Peter King told Patch he had believed that after memorial had been set up; some property owners in the area "were selling a house and apparently thought the memorial would hurt their opportunity to sell the house.
It is unclear if the property owners King mentioned were the ones for 6 Ray Court.
The house is described on the website as a "potential ranch" with four bedrooms, two bathroom, a formal dining room as well as a "nice and big family room."
The property was on the market for 151 days before it was sold.
The broker, Carlos Amaya of Exit Realty Achieve, told the New York Post he informed the couple about the history of the home but that "they still went through with the closing."
