Missing Couple Found
The man and woman visiting their daughter in Central Islip were reported missing on Monday.

CENTRAL ISLIP - Luis Uguna and Carmen Cabrera were both located, unharmed, Suffolk Police announced on Tuesday morning.

CENTRAL ISLIP, NY - Police issued a silver alert for a missing couple from Ecuador, who were visiting their daughter in Central Islip on Monday night.
Luis Uguna, 69 and Carmen Cabrera, 77, were staying at their daughter’s home on Wilson Boulevard.

They left the house at 11 a.m. on June 18.
The couple, from Ecuador, were last seen walking north on Wilson Boulevard. They only speak Spanish. They don’t have any money or credit cards and have no other family in the neighborhood.
Uguna is a described as 5-foot-1, 180 pounds with brown eyes and black hair. He was last seen wearing a black baseball hat, light blue shirt, and blue pants.
Cabrera is described as 4-foot-8, 130 pounds with brown eyes and black hair. She was last seen wearing a black hat, white shirt and light gray pants.
Anyone with information about Uguna’s and Cabrera’s location is asked to contact Third Squad detectives at 631-854-8352 or call 911.
