Derby Day At Jake’s 58: Betting, Mint Juleps, Jumbo Screens Saturday

ISLANDIA, NY — Fans of horse racing and Derby Day style can head to Jake’s 58 Casino Hotel this weekend for a Kentucky Derby viewing party featuring live race coverage, betting and themed drinks.
The event is scheduled for Saturday, May 2, with festivities running throughout the afternoon leading up to post time for the race, often called “the most exciting two minutes in sports.”
Guests will gather inside Bistro 58 Sports Bar and Grill, where the race will be shown on jumbo screens in a high-energy atmosphere. On-site betting will begin at 8 a.m. and continue through post time, giving attendees the chance to place wagers throughout the day.

The venue will also offer signature mint juleps and a full food and beverage menu as part of the celebration.
