Driver Avoids Serious Injury After Rotting Tree Falls On Car
The driver walked away with a minor injury after a tree smashed into a car on Sunday. Check out a photo from the scene in the article.
BRENTWOOD, NY - A driver avoided serious injuries after a tree fell onto a car in Brentwood Sunday afternoon.
Suffolk Police received a 911 call at 2:41 p.m. reporting that a tree fell on a car on Brentwood Road.
Members of the Brentwood Fire Department also responded and found that a rotted portion of the tree fell landing on the windshield of the car, breaking the windshield.

The occupant self extracted from the vehicle, Brentwood Chief John Boyle said.
Luckily, the driver only suffered a minor hand injury.
