Driver Crashes Into Platform Of Central Islip Train Station
The driver was hospitalized following the crash on Friday afternoon. See photos inside the story.

CENTRAL ISLIP, NY - A driver was hospitalized after crashing into the platform of the Central Islip train station on Friday afternoon, MTA officials confirmed.
The crash at the local LIRR station was reported at about 3 p.m.
The driver, who was a livery car driver, was conscious and alert. He was taken to Southside Hospital in Bay Shore.

The cause of the crash is still unknown. MTA Police are investigating.
There is no impact to train service.
